The Candy Crush of the DS!
With this game, the goal is to acquire various parts of certain objects using Candy Crush mechanics. You do this by getting these parts to the bottom.

In Around the World in 80 Days, you try to travel around the world in 80 days. The levels start off easy, but get harder as you progress. It might happen that you have to replay a level one or more times. This is really one of those games that you play for about 10 minutes, not the kind where you play for hours on end.

The music in the game is calming, and the graphics look okay. Furthermore, the gameplay is as you would expect, and the controls are easy to handle thanks to the touchscreen.

I recommend this game if you enjoy Candy Crush, or if you like puzzle games in general.

Around the World in 80 Puzzles
The game tells the classic story of Phileas Fogg and his servant Passepartout attempting to travel Around the World in 80 Days. In the time period of the game, this was quite a challenge.

Around the World in 80 Days is a very enjoyable adventure puzzle game. It reminds me of Jewel Quest. The puzzles range from easy to difficult as the journey progresses. During the journey, the adventurers encounter certain problems that are solved by searching for objects. By solving the puzzles, objects are completed. In the puzzles, items are cleared by matching them with each other. For example, matching 3 of the same item in a row. The objects are hidden in pieces within the puzzle. The pieces fall down until they drop out of the puzzle.

In between the puzzles, the story is narrated. One drawback is that if you fail a puzzle, you are set back a few puzzles if you run out of lives. The game automatically saves after a few puzzles.

For each puzzle, you can load tools such as a hammer or a bomb. These can be used to explode items to assist in solving a puzzle.

Fun puzzle game
In Around the World in 80 Days, you aim to travel around the world in 80 days. Each day presents a puzzle. The first few days are quite easy, but as you progress, it gets more challenging. I found it manageable up to day 50, but from there on, it becomes extremely difficult to complete the days. The game is very enjoyable for about half an hour, no longer.
