A remake of one of the best Super Nintendo games
Kirby: Super Star Ultra is a game with 15 different sub-games, almost all of which can be played in co-op mode, each with its own storyline. So, it's a lot of fun to play together, but you can also enjoy it for a long time playing alone.

Furthermore, Kirby Super Star Ultra plays almost the same as all other traditional Kirby games: it's a 2D platformer where you can walk, jump, and fly. You can also swallow enemies and use their powers to progress through the levels. Sometimes you need specific powers to solve puzzles or find collectibles. In Kirby Super Star Ultra, you can use the powers of enemies in multiple ways by pressing a certain direction while pressing the attack button, which is not possible in most other Kirby games.

The only downside I find is that you need to own the game twice to play it well together, but that's not a big deal. You also need two DS devices to play together.
