A must-play for everyone! Young and old!
This game is all about the battle between ninjas and skeletons. It was my first DS game and also the first game I ever played. It doesn't have great graphics, but that doesn't matter. You actually create a team of LEGO figures from the Ninjago series; you start with the original ninjas and can later get more figures, including those not from Ninjago (e.g., Santa Claus, a police officer, an astronaut, and even an alien!)
The gameplay is not too complicated and a lot of fun! At the beginning, you only have a construction worker. You have to build a barracks where you can create figures. You can do this by collecting golden bricks. You can also use them to buy figures, build defense systems, construct castles where you get free construction workers, a mine that you can only build on ground faults and where you get a lot of golden bricks.
To win, you have to destroy the other person's base (using construction workers and figures). To attack, you first select your figure(s) and then move, after which it automatically attacks something unless you command it to attack something else. In this game, there are also many "forms" that you can acquire by playing the story. The forms change the characteristics and appearance of a figure (construction workers don't have forms), for example: the wizard transforms into a large creature when entering his first form and flies in the second. You can change forms as often as you like! They have also added "red bricks," which are just cheat codes that you can buy with the studs you have collected.

The story is fun but very short. You can also play the same story from the skeleton team's perspective, which is slightly different from the ninjas' and has a different ending.
It also has a local multiplayer mode where you can play against friends.
