Not really something I would recommend to anyone
This accessory is not recommended, it doesn't change much (if anything at all). It makes your DS vibrate while playing. You might think this is cool, but then you see the games it's compatible with, and you'll be disappointed. Not only because of the limited number of games you can use the Nintendo DS Rumble Pak with, but also the type of games you can use it with. It's not worth the money unless you're a collector who collects all DS accessories.

Limited game support does the Rumble Pack a disservice
The Nintendo DS Rumble Pak adds a vibrating experience to a select few Nintendo DS games. While the idea sounds quite fun on paper, I found that the number of games that truly utilise this feature is very limited. As a result, the added value of the rumble experience often falls short.

Although it's amusing to play Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and Wario: Master of Disguise with rumble, I must say that the vibrations don't really add much to the gameplay of these titles. It feels more like a gimmick than a genuine enhancement to the gaming experience.

With only 32 titles supporting the Rumble Pak, I wonder if it's worth buying. For me, it’s mainly a fun extra, but not essential for enjoying Nintendo DS games. It might be interesting for collectors, but for the average gamer, it’s not a must-have.

No added value
This Rumble Pak adds absolutely no value to the gaming experience. It makes your DS vibrate while playing, but it only works with very few games, so you won't get much benefit from this Nintendo DS Rumble Pak.

Is the Rumble Pak compatible with the DS or DS Lite?
The Rumble Pak was included as standard with the games Action Loop and Metroid Pinball. This Rumble Pak fits into the GBA slot (the slot for Game Boy Advance games). The Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite both have this GBA slot. The Rumble Pak cannot be used with the Nintendo DSi (XL), as the DSi does not have a GBA slot.

Because the Rumble Pak protrudes on the DS Lite, there are also smaller versions of the Rumble Pak available. The smaller version of the Rumble Pak is only compatible with the DS Lite.
