Monotony and tedious battles reduce enjoyment
Fun for a while, but the grind set in quickly.
In Orcs & Elves dungeon crawlers aren't really my thing, but I was drawn in by the first-person perspective and the dark style. This is a dungeon crawler RPG where you navigate through various levels, fight monsters, and solve puzzles. It’s a classic dungeon experience with turn-based battles and a simple yet effective story. The atmosphere is nicely moody and dark. However, the limited variation in environments and enemies made it quickly monotonous and the battles became increasingly tedious. It doesn’t really excel at anything.
