Missed potential: poor touch controls
It's a game with potential. That is certainly true. There is a story in it that is better than that of Mario Bros.. But not much better. It's enough to make you play the game, but it's not good enough to play it for the story.

The gameplay is actually quite cleverly designed. That's why I'm a fan of it.

But let's address the elephant in the room. The game has touch controls exclusively. This also fits the game. Unlike the majority, I'm not against this. If a game has well-executed touch controls. The problem is this game doesn't have good touch controls, but poor touch controls.

To attack, you first have to determine your position in your field to decide which attack you will do. Then you have to click on your dragon; hold your stylus still for half a second and then swipe forward. After this, hope that your dragon actually attacks instead of going through the entire ring.

Because of this, Strijd der Giganten: Dragons is actually difficult to recommend. It's a game with potential that is all wasted because of the too difficult and too slow command to attack.

I'm not saying that this series is bad. It's just about this game. Strijd der Giganten: Dinosaurs I would always recommend.
