Monotonous enemies and frustrating gameplay
Whether I can recommend the game, I can say with the most common one-liner from the game: "No."

Film games are rarely top-notch, but The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is really not up to scratch. The voice acting consists of two words that are repeated when you want to do something (like climb) in a place the game doesn’t allow. Then you have the choice of "No." or "I can’t do that here." spoken with the intonation as if you’ve asked a teenager to do the dishes.

Shooting with the touchscreen feels odd, but is quite enjoyable with one of the two characters. Although you never really know where you’re shooting since there’s no crosshair. With the second character, using a different weapon, the reload time is too long to make shooting enjoyable.

The enemies are monotonous, and the environmental puzzles have the difficulty level of a children's puzzle. But the massive amounts of enemies that spawn endlessly while you’re trying to slide that one pillar onto the right tile make your life miserable. Then you want to climb where you shouldn’t, just because, and you hear "No." for the twenty-fifth time in that level. Then you shut your DS off and fling the game cart out.
Hide.
