A strong addition to the Yoshi's Island series with new babies!
Yoshi's Island DS for the Nintendo DS brings the charm of the original Yoshi's Island to the portable world. In this sequel, Yoshi, the friendly dinosaur, once again takes on the task of protecting Baby Mario and his friends as they travel through colorful levels.

A very fun 2D platformer starring Yoshi
Yoshi's Island DS bears a strong resemblance to the original Yoshi's Island (for the Super Nintendo), only this time there are more babies to help you navigate through the levels.

For those who have never played the original Yoshi's Island: you control Yoshi and utilize the powers of various babies riding on your back. One baby enables you to climb ropes while another lets you pull metal objects towards you. Yoshi himself can walk, jump, flutter a short distance, and eat enemies to turn them into eggs that you can shoot away.

In my opinion, Yoshi's Island DS is one of the best DS games, and for a small price, this is definitely a must-have!

How do I access the Time Trial mode in Yoshi's Island DS?

Once you have completed the game Yoshi's Island DS, you will be rewarded with the Time Trial mode. To access Time Trial, go to the menu as if you were starting a game. Your completed game file will have a star icon and the word "Delete!" where the world should be. Click on your file and you will see "Time Trial" in the bottom right corner where there used to be a question mark. In Time Trial mode, you will be rewarded with 5 extra levels, one for each world. You can also play those levels with a black Yoshi.

At the end of each level, there is a ring with 0 to 5 flowers on it, depending on the number of flowers you have found in the level. If you jump into this ring, there will be an imaginary ball circling around the ring, and if it were to land on a flower, you would be warped to a bonus stage. However, there is another way to access one of these 5 bonus levels, and here's how...
